Context

ImportExportService and its format support exist in the core layer and are tested, but users cannot reach them from the TUI. The capability is therefore not currently a supported product feature.

Acceptance criteria

  • Import and export have discoverable TUI entry points.
  • The workflow lets users choose among the formats the core service actually supports.
  • Validation, overwrite confirmation, success, and error states are visible.
  • System-facing behavior is covered without touching the real /etc/hosts.
  • The README documents the reachable workflow.
